AI Automation Engineer

About the role

You will build systems that remove manual work from business processes: from simple sync workflows to agents completing multi-step tasks on their own. It matters not only that it works, but that it is reliable, observable and secure.

Your first 90 days

1. 30 days

   Learn our approaches and current projects. Ship your first automation to production with a colleague.

2. 60 days

   Own a client automation project. Propose improvements to our templates.

3. 90 days

   Be responsible for the automation track on several projects and share your findings with the team.

What you will do

• Design workflows in n8n and write custom nodes and services in JavaScript or Python
• Integrate LLMs (Claude, OpenAI and others) via API: prompts, tools, RAG
• Build quality evaluation (evals), logging and error handling
• Connect CRMs, spreadsheets, email, messengers, databases
• Document solutions so clients can use them without us

What matters to us

• 1.5+ years in automation or backend development
• Confident with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and an understanding of their limits
• JavaScript or Python at the level of writing small services
• Attention to security: keys, access, personal data

Nice to have

• Experience deploying n8n in Docker
• SQL and vector databases
• Experience with agent frameworks and MCP
