About the role

You will be the person who turns strategy into daily work. CODEWORKS is growing, and we need an operations leader who builds predictable delivery, transparent economics and a team that does not need micromanagement.

Your first 90 days

  1. 30 days

Understand current projects, finances and processes. Talk to everyone on the team and to key clients.

  2. 60 days

Introduce a single planning and reporting rhythm. Define 3–5 company-level operating metrics.

  3. 90 days

Have a one-year operations plan agreed with the founders, plus the first measured improvements.

What you will do

  • Run day-to-day operations: delivery, team capacity, priorities
  • Build processes for sales, client onboarding, hiring and adaptation
  • Own financial planning: budget, project margins, forecast
  • Work with team leads and help them grow
  • Partner with the founders on strategic decisions

What matters to us

  • 4+ years in operations leadership at an IT services or product company
  • Ability to build processes from scratch and remove unnecessary ones
  • Understanding of service-business unit economics
  • Strong written Ukrainian and English (Upper-Intermediate+)
  • Calm in ambiguity and readiness to be hands-on

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling a team from 10 to 50+
  • Understanding of AI tools and operations automation
  • Experience with international clients

What we offer

  • Remote work and flexible hours with a few shared hours a day
  • Paid vacation and sick leave
  • A budget for learning and professional tools, including AI
  • Direct access to decision-makers — no bureaucracy
  • Regular feedback and compensation reviews

Hiring process

  1. Application

A CV and a few lines about yourself. We reply to everyone.

  2. Intro call

30 minutes online: about you, about us, expectations on both sides.

  3. Role-specific stage

A conversation with future colleagues or a small practical task close to real work. AI tools are welcome — we want to see how you work with them.

  4. Decision

Final conversation, offer and an agreed start date.

We assess skills and approach to work. Age, gender, location or a degree do not affect the decision. If you do not tick every box but the role speaks to you — write to us.

Apply for this role

A CV and a few words about yourself are enough. A cover letter is optional.
